This new episode of the flash introduces us two of new villains that the show was lacking. Mirror Master is one of the main villain of the Flash and associate of Captain Cold aka Snart.
Mirror Master (Samuel Joseph Scudder)
First of all Mirror Master did not get his powers from the “big bang”. Earlier versions he experimented on mirrors and invented his own tech. In The New 52, a reboot of the DC Comics universe, Sam Scudder is the current Mirror Master. It’s revealed that a year prior he, Captain Cold, Heatwave, and Weather Wizard underwent a procedure at an unknown facility that would merge them with their weapons, giving them superpowers. The procedure went awry, causing an explosion at the facility. Golden Glider, who was also at the facility, was caught in the explosion. The five were given superpowers but each in a twisted manner. Heat Wave gains pyrokinesis but at the cost of his body being burned, Weather Wizard becomes emotionally tied to his weather wand causing constant depression, Sam would be forever trapped in Mirror World, and Golden Glider becomes an astral projection of herself. It is implied that Sam is in a romantic relationship with her. The Rogues blame Captain Cold for this and have turned against him because of it.
Also his girlfriend is Lisa (Snart’s Sister) not the women you see in The Flash Tv series.

Top (Roscoe Neyle Dillon)
Ok. First “Top”isn’t a woman. He’s a bloody man, and i really don’t like how Flash writers playing with the DC characters. Roscoe Dillon is a small-time crook who turns his childhood obsession with tops into a criminal persona. Roscoe taught himself how to spin around fast enough to deflect bullets and produce other semi-useful effects. Top soon discovers that the spinning somehow increased his intelligence as well, allowing him to create a variety of trick tops. He tried to blackmail the world with an Atomic Top that would destroy half the world when it slowed down and imprisoned the Flash inside it, but the Flash vibrated out of it and sent it into space. His unique gimmick and moderate success in crime soon makes him a respected member of the Flash’s rogues gallery. He dates Golden Glider, Captain Cold’s sister, while coaching her on ice skating. Eventually, Top develops immense psionic powers, as years of spinning moves dormant brain cells to the outer areas of his brain, endowing him with mental powers.
