The Last episode of the Arrow “So It Begins” direct us into the new option to see, who really is this “Prometheus”. But do you really believe it’s former Star City Police Detective Quentin Lance. I don’t think so.
I have two options about this mysterious villain. First one is this is none other than Olivers’s best buddy “Tommy”. I know he’s dead, but we have a few cards on the table to bring him back from the dead. One is Flashpoint. We already know it’s have affected Arrow (we have boy Junior Diggle instead of Sarah). So it’s possible for Tommy being not dead. The Next option is Merlyn. Since this new villain has a little bit combination of Merlin’s and Arrow’s fighting style, we can hope that he was trained by Malcolm Merlyn. Maybe he used “Lazarus pit” to bring him back from dead. Hope you can remember when Tobias Church revealed Arrow’s identity, he didn’t care like he already knows who he is.
My Second Opinion is SPCD Detective Billy Malone. According to Felicity’s new found evidence Prometheus using SPCD evidence lockup. So who else fit this description better than Malone. Also, when Felicity told him she was working with Green Arrow and he didn’t even seem to care, even though he was just upset that she was lying about it. Felicity was even taken back by Malone’s reaction and eagerness to know everything about Arrow. Unfortunately, Detective Malone is not a DC Comics character. So that means there’s no way of knowing what his plans are. But Hopefully we can find some interesting theory in the future. Until then, let’s enjoy Arrow.
PS: Both Original Prometheus (Curt Calhoun) & Imposter Prometheus was killed by Green Arrow in the DC Comic Universe.
